Esam Janahi

Mr. Janahi is a well-known, acclaimed name in the global/regional Islamic and conventional banking industry. He is one of the founders of Gulf Finance House, and has been instrumental in the spectacular growth of this institution, which is now a leading provider of Islamic banking services and products. Mr. Janahi continues to play a dynamic role in the Islamic banking industry. He was listed amongst the “Gulf Power 25” by the Times London.

Mr. Janahi has also been elected a member of the parliament of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the second term in a row. In June 2008 he received an honorary doctorate from Geneva School of Diplomacy and International relations for his contribution towards accelerating growth in emerging economies.
